Several therapists, especially of oriental ancestry claim to be able to cause people to lose weight by acupuncture. They stick long needles into your body at all kinds of unholy places and maintain that they have found the nerve centers that regulate your body weight. Whether this truly works is still a subject of heated debates.|A few formerly obese people claim to have been able to lose weight thanks to acupuncture.
While there is reason to believe that this may be true, the fact that the secrets of the process are not readily accessible to the general public has resulted in not-so-friendly debates that continually challenge the procedure.|There is substantial claim that acupuncture works to cure obesity. A lot of people from the orient assert that this has been in practice for ages. As far as I am concerned, I am yet to see one person that I know personally step forward to say that it happened to them.}

Substantial, unintentional weight loss is a symptom of acute or chronic illness, especially if other evidence is present.
