Getting Views, marketing your articles., new writers, triond,Although there have been many past articles published giving advice to new Triond Writers it seems with the influx of many new writer’s it was time for article to help them get started getting those views.
In the last couple of weeks I have gotten several emails from new and not so new writer’s on how to increase their views so they can start making some money on Triond. While much of this has been covered by other writers at other times I though it might be helpful to those who have just joined and have not stumbled across the previous articles dealing with this subject.
How To Get Those Views
Keep in mind that while getting comments and views from other writers here on Triond is wonderful and often helpful in improving your writing skills your real goal is to get readers from the outside world not just here on the site. That being said here are some tips to help you start getting those views both from inside Triond and outside of Triond.
Remember that Triond is a huge site with literally thousands upon thousands of articles being published daily. That means it is going to take awhile for anyone to even notice you are writing for the site. So be patient, it takes time to develop a following.
Start by being pro active. Every writer on this site was once new and was eager to get their work viewed but, there really are no short cuts. If you want views start by reading other people’s work and commenting on them. It may take a while for them to notice or respond in kind but, eventually many will.
Once you have read several articles by writers whose work you admire and who think are successful on the site then send them an email asking them which types of articles they feel get viewed the most. This will help you to direct your writing efforts towards more popular articles. DO NOT under any circumstances spam emails or comment boxes asking people to read your articles it looks unprofessional. If you do have a related article to the one you are commenting on then it is all right to supply a link to your article. But make sure you mention in your article that your link is related.
Once you written a real good article send the links to all your email list asking them to read your article, and post the link on your Facebook, Twitter, and other social websites to try and increase you views. There are a number of helpful articles on this site alone that will help you develop a marketing plan for getting your articles
noticed. Try using the explore button and going to content and type in searches like “ways to increase views” and “How to use stumble” or “How to use Facebook, Digg, etc.” Guy Hogan wrote a great article on how to ping your articles to get them noticed by several search engines and several articles on increasing your views using Twitter. Other great writers have also given advise on marketing your articles so make use of the articles that have been written to help other writers.
Once you start getting some views you can back link to other relevant articles you have written to help increase those articles views as well.
Be prepared to invest as much time marketing your work as you do writing, make sure your articles are well written, have good grammar, and are interesting and the views will come it just takes time.
One other thing that you can do is to find other new writers whose work you write and write an article about them introducing them to the world. This type or article usually gets quite a few views and you’ll not only be helping yourself but, other new writers as well.
